DRACULA

Design for Production: Classic Reboot

(2024 Swinburne University Assignment)

The notions of duplicity, lies, and concealed evil that are ingrained in Dracula's character are ingeniously mimicked within the project. The publication's design conceals its darker themes behind an alluring, clean and seemingly harmless façade. With deeper investigation, it's revealed that a series of lies and falsehoods are revealed as the story's underlying malevolence of his actual nature. Dracula's evil and deceit within the publication enclosure—with a supporting publication and poster— represents how the character charms his victims before revealing his horrible schemes.

Throughout the project, my goal was to express this concept and story, which is emphasised by typeface, colours, and visual imagery to depict his dual duality of vampire and human.
