COLD ROCK ICE CREAMERY
Design Capstone: Design Project
(2024 Swinburne University Assignment)
Cold Rock's rebranding campaign aims to strengthen its Australian culture on both print and digital channels. The project involved redesigning packaging, advertising materials, and digital assets to better reflect local ingredients and Australian culture. To develop a consistent visual identity, we used vibrant beach-inspired hues and graphics reminiscent of the Australian summer. The koala included in their new combination mark and brandmark is not only cute and a national icon of Australia, but it is also the Queensland emblem for their fauna, where the brand originated from.
The goal of the project was to adhere to and highlight the brand's Australian roots with a revamped identity, as previous branding disregarded their national background with antiquated colours, logo design, and general branding aesthetic.
